Terms of Payment:

Our normal terms for payment are strictly payment on completion or within 14 days on receipt of invoice. If you have difficulty paying your account by the due date please advise us promptly and we will arrange a payment plan with you until our account is settled (subject to our discretion).

We offer the following means of payment:

Basic Income Tax Return:

A "basic" Income Tax Return consists of up to 3 PAYG summaries. Such a return will usually take about 30 minutes Interview time with the client and 20 Minutes follow up time in the back office. Minimum cost for a "basic" Income Tax Return, including interview, setup of return, data entry, lodgment and assessment follow-up is $118.18 (+ GST). Tax Returns taking longer than this and / or containing additional items such as Deductions, Rebates, Investment Income, Business & Rentals etc may be charged on a time basis accordingly.

Business Services:

Our basic professional, book-keeping and secretarial fees are based upon a very competitive flat hourly rate which is extremely competitive for the industry which we will disclose to clients, if requested, in the first hour meeting. We believe, and are told, that our rates provide our clients with excellent value for money.

First Hour Free Policy:

Resolve Accounting + Taxation has a “First Hour Free” policy for NEW business clients. This allows you to get to know a little more about us and us to get to know a little more about you and your business. It allows us to run through with you what services may be of use to you and you to discuss what services you may want of us for your business to help you achieve your goals and generally take some pressure off your shoulders.

Rates:

Our rates include all computer costs, electronic lodgment of documents, photocopying, faxes, telephone calls, traveling costs. There will be no charge for telephone advice provided each call does not exceed 5 minutes or does not exceed 1 call per month.

Quotes:

If possible we may provide you with a fee range or may feel it is unrealistic to provide an accurate quote for the work in advance.

If we are provided with details in similar format, accuracy & complexity as the previous year your fees are likely to be similar to what you were charged in that previous year. Perhaps a little less perhaps a little more, depending on the hourly rate you were charged that year. Feel free to compare our rate with that you were charged previously.

We encourage our business clients to use regular accounting services throughout the year. Not only does this allow better reporting and control of your business but also allows us to spread your estimated fee over the entire 12 months of the year. This can be beneficial to cash flow as well as general business management.

Due to the unexpected tasks that often require attendance during the year we reserve the right to review our estimated fees at any time.

For work estimated at over $1000 we may require a deposit in advance of up to 50% of the initial estimate.

Progress Bills may be issued, at our discretion, when total time charged reaches $200.
